This is Mama bird... I remember one morning seeing a bird fly back and forth on our porch and while it was away, we looked and found a nest!. We weren't too thrilled to say the least, but it wasn't as bad as we expected. After googling the birds, we found out that they were Mourning Doves:
We named them Mama and Papa bird, never knowing which was witch because they supposedly they switch places while each one takes a turn looking for food.
They were around for about 2 weeks until they had their 2 baby birds. We knew that they would be gone when we came back from Hawaii, so we got in some last minute pictures before we left. It was kind of sad knowing they'd be gone, but they left of lots of bird poop as a thank you gift :)
P.S. - To the next bird couple... Next time, we're charging rent.
