So the day has finally come... I will be sending out the invites tomorrow :( I'm super excited for them to go out but I'll miss them terribly. More than half of them will be mailed out, and the others will be delivered

They took up so much room, that they were like a new piece of furniture in my apartment... and now that I've been able to clean up, it feels so empty! That just means on to the next project!

I'll also miss the late nights with Mr.Fiancee helping me put them together :(

He's just a little bit more excited to see them go than I am!

March 28, 2010: Week 14

Well, we have another coat of stucco, and some spackling on the inside of the house...

Here is our neighbors house... They're all painted already!

This pic is for you Lauri, This is what they do to the walls... she'll probably get a few more layers to give it that textured look. Chris tells me this is done out here because the construction is not as good so it hides the imperfections. But I don't believe that at all... because Amber is perfect :)

Meet our Ring Bearer

So this is a funny story. We were finally able to ask my cousin Victor to be our ring bearer. Before we asked him, we went to the store to get him a video game and Chris and I were joking that we would use it to bribe him in case he said no. Well little did we know that would be the case! Honestly... do you really think a 8 year old wants to spend his day at a wedding being the center of attention? We were lucky to have our bribe in place and offered him a exchange.... "we'll give you a present if you say yes". So he said yes, and opened his present, only to find out we got him the wrong video game (he had a different system).

We felt awful, but thank goodness we had a receipt! We're so happy we can bribe with 8 year olds!!

March 21, 2010: Week 13

Amber got a tan! It's about time :) This is the first coat of many she'll get before she gets some nice coats of dark green paint.

They also finished up taping and sanding all the dry wall...

If you have all the time in the world, try doing this when the sun is going down...

Anthony's Birthday

It's not too often we get to get together with our bridal party/friends, but it was Anthony's birthday and Lindsey (bridesmaid/Ants girlfriend) put together a awesome dinner party at a new restaurant in Phoenix. We try to take advantage of the light rail as often as we can, and luckily we were able to use it for this trip...

Here is a pic of all the guys (and if you have a good enough memory, then yes you're right, Nick decided to strike a similar pose as he did in this post.)

Doesn't fiancee look handsome?!?! Also, this is your first and only warning. At the wedding don't ask Aaron to take any pictures for you (he's the only blonde one in the above picture, and in the bridal party), because they turn out like this...

So make sure someone else takes your pictures so they turn out like this :)

The night almost ended on a good note, until we got back on the train :( There was a crazy drunk on the train who I swear was on there purely to make us mad... then cops showed up to make sure everyone had purchased tickets, only to find out that we had the wrong tickets... so instead of giving us tickets (the kind the make you go to court), they made us get off the train (3 stops away from where we were supposed to get off) and purchase the right ticket while is was windy and cold outside.

All in all though, it was a good night :)
