Let's Recap...

So hopefully we'll be getting our wedding pictures tomorrow... yay!!! In the mean time, I wanted to recap the cute paper/fabric projects that were sent out...

The first to go out were the "Will you be my bridesmaid/groomsmen" cards...



Then went the Save the Date...

Wedding Band Shopping

So, we knew we were going to have a pretty hard time finding a wedding band for the best ring in the world :) We had actually found one but when we went back to buy it someone had alreadybought it. We were super bummed, but we ended up finding this beauty instead....

She works perfectly! It looks like they came together in a set which is what we were hoping for.

I can't wait for my ring to have a best friend!

Separation Anxiety

So the day has finally come... I will be sending out the invites tomorrow :( I'm super excited for them to go out but I'll miss them terribly. More than half of them will be mailed out, and the others will be delivered

They took up so much room, that they were like a new piece of furniture in my apartment... and now that I've been able to clean up, it feels so empty! That just means on to the next project!

I'll also miss the late nights with Mr.Fiancee helping me put them together :(

He's just a little bit more excited to see them go than I am!

Meet our Ring Bearer

So this is a funny story. We were finally able to ask my cousin Victor to be our ring bearer. Before we asked him, we went to the store to get him a video game and Chris and I were joking that we would use it to bribe him in case he said no. Well little did we know that would be the case! Honestly... do you really think a 8 year old wants to spend his day at a wedding being the center of attention? We were lucky to have our bribe in place and offered him a exchange.... "we'll give you a present if you say yes". So he said yes, and opened his present, only to find out we got him the wrong video game (he had a different system).

We felt awful, but thank goodness we had a receipt! We're so happy we can bribe with 8 year olds!!

Anthony's Birthday

It's not too often we get to get together with our bridal party/friends, but it was Anthony's birthday and Lindsey (bridesmaid/Ants girlfriend) put together a awesome dinner party at a new restaurant in Phoenix. We try to take advantage of the light rail as often as we can, and luckily we were able to use it for this trip...

Doesn't fiancee look handsome?!?! Also, this is your first and only warning. At the wedding don't ask Aaron to take any pictures for you (he's the only blonde one in the above picture, and in the bridal party), because they turn out like this...

So make sure someone else takes your pictures so they turn out like this :)

The night almost ended on a good note, until we got back on the train :( There was a crazy drunk on the train who I swear was on there purely to make us mad... then cops showed up to make sure everyone had purchased tickets, only to find out that we had the wrong tickets... so instead of giving us tickets (the kind the make you go to court), they made us get off the train (3 stops away from where we were supposed to get off) and purchase the right ticket while is was windy and cold outside.

All in all though, it was a good night :)

Food Tasting at the Castle

We decided to make it a family affair, and go taste some food so all of our guests don't leave the wedding talking about how crappy the food was.... That's just not our style :) The castle let us taste a few of their many options, and the food was freakin awesome! This is how it started....

Here is Mr. Fiancee probably getting mad at me for making him take a picture when all he wants to do is eat...

I was going through my camera, and all I could find were pictures of everyone laughing... Here is my sister Monique with my parents. We call her Mo, or now it's M.O.H. (maid of honor :) )

We were probably laughing at something she said... anything that comes out of her mouth is ridiculous. Anyways, this was how the food was...

It was delicious :)

Love For Life Weekend

So... This post is EXTREMELY long... probably the longest blog post in the world. So if you make it all the way through the end I'll be very impressed :) We had a very very long weekend. I thought this weekend was called "Engaged for life", but after thinking about it, that doesn't really make sense does it? That would actually be awful. The class started Friday night at 7, so before it started Chris and I went out to dinner. I saw these awesome backgrounds, and couldn't pass them up...

After we had our fun, it was time for the long weekend to start...

This is how I made it through the weekend... Trail Mix, Smart Water, and candy from the Sweet Factory

I also drew some occasional pictures because I am a self proclaimed professional artist.

The next morning finally came, and I was able to take some awesome pictures...

The whole Catholic building/square was awesome. Pope John Paul II was here in 1987, and they had a whole bunch of his stuff on display from when he visited.

This is a statue of him outside the center we were in...

Then class started, which means more time for us to learn and reflect about each other...

and more pictures... (We finally decided where we're going on our honeymoon... we will be on a Caribbean cruise which will be making a stop at the Cayman Islands)

Then it was time for a break! Which meant more exploring and more pretty pictures outside.

Then back in side to learn more about each other :)

Then we had one final break before we were done.... yes, more pictures!! The entire walkway was full of bricks, some of which I think may have been dedicated to or paid for by someone... and look what we found :) Father John, the coolest priest in the world who will be marrying us (obviously he is no longer with St.Germaine, as our church has stolen him away)

and our church where we'll be married :)

We then wandered over to the ASU downtown campus, and I was able to get this awesome shot... Cool huh :)

This is the Carriage House that was built in 1881. We don't see these type of houses too much in Arizona, so it was just fun to look at

And finally, all of our hard work this weekend paid off... Drum Roll please.....

We have finally fulfilled all the requirements of the Catholic Church to get married. Long post right?!?!? Well it was a long weekend, and be glad you only got to enjoy part of it with us. But now we can just sit back, relax, and wait for the big day :)
